Laying in the bed way to early to.be up. What a great experience and time i and we had. I feel I learned so much about the island but also about myself. At the core finding our true purpose is left in the hands of the most high. I plan on being closer to family and focusing on spiritual things more than work. I love the water and love the island vibes.. simple is the way for me. We have some great pics and more to share. I am also excited to get back and get my rv tour started. I cant wait to get it in the next week or so, I cant wait to hit the road. The many colors and smells and taste are truly amazing..
Me and my film ‘The diabetic you” was featured in this music video. Take a read about this amazing and inspiring group.
Imagine heavy baselines, one drops, psychedelic guitar riffs, echoing keyboards, popping percussion and conscious lyrics
Now imagine roots reggae, imagine dub, rock…
Like their style of music, Dubtonic is a mixture of two words “DUB”, relating to the heavy drum and bass aspect of reggae music and “TONIC”, referring to medicine. The eclectic blend of music and musicians are certainly medicine to one’s soul and after listening you simply just want more of this TONIC
It’s then no surprise, the level of positive energy that is shared through music between “Dubtonic Kru” and their listeners everywhere they perform.
Their versatility and capability in being able to serve the right dosage to their varying audiences was the edge they had over their counterparts when they were voted BEST NEW BAND IN THE WORLD” 2010 – 2011 at the Global Battle of the Bands World Finals in Malyasia, February 2011. After a fierce musical showdown of different genres that involved national finalists from numerous countries, the Executive Judges made the unanimous decision that awarded Dubtonic Kru top honours.
Founding members of Dubtonic Kru, “Jubba” and “Stone”, a dynamic Drum & Bass duo, who over the years contributed to the development of modern Roots Reggae, with their unique sound and approach that intertwines Jubba’s mesmerizing Reggae/Jazz Fusion drumming with Stone’s groovy, yet pulsating bass lines. The Duo has gained about a decade and a half of experience from touring and or recording with the legendary likes of Max Romeo, U-Roy, Burning Spear, The Mighty Diamonds as well as modern day artistes such as Bushman, Junior Kelly, Richie Spice and Lutan Fyah . A significant milestone in their careers was the composition of the “I Swear” rhythm, that took the Reggae arena by storm featuring artistes such as Richie Spice, Chuck Fenda, Sizzla among others.

Theres not much i can say about this song. I think the words and melody will say it all. I ran into this song at the perfect time. I heard this song before a few months ago but last night was perfect timing. I think it truly motivates me in so many ways. As men we have many levels to attain to. We fall short at times but we must continue to be all we can be each day. We were given a gift of life. Live it to the full. Make each day count, make each day powerful. Some would trade places with us in a second to have what we at times complain about. Make this precious gift a story to share for a long time.
So as i roll into Monday on this Sunday night, i am ready to take up the fight. This week should be a great week. We have some strong deals being done and lots of forward progress. I feel just like the song, a buffalo soldier.
I dont just do diabetes all day. Well it seems like that but i do love to make music. Coming from the west indies i love my reggae music. Now i have been working with a top producer and this is my first song, its not mixed or anything but still wanted to share. We have some serious songs coming, i do think this has alot of potential and will even put out a video for it. I feel the timing with all the mess going on in the world this is very fitting. I have some great songs coming after this first one is mixed. I want to get back to the roots, i don’t care for alot of the new stuff as i feel it does not truly move people to get up and change or stand for something. So Sir Charles is born. I am going to have some fun with this next chapter of my life.
